LAWS/REQUIREMENTS

TO APPLY FOR YOUR LICENSE YOU NEED TO:

  1. Submit the Initial licensing 4 hr HIV/AIDS Certificate received from this school

  2. No State exam required. All testing done at this school must pass with a 75% GPA. Testing is done during Theory.

  3. Must be at least 16yrs old or emancipated if younger than 16. No High School Diploma or G.E.D. needed. If younger than 16 you can attend if you have a High School Diploma or GED. If you are younger than 16 and meet these requirements your parent or guardian must sign your application too unless you are emancipated.

  4. Pay applicable fees/tuition. No balances due to school.

  5. Complete 180 clock hours 

  6. Must have a valid picture identification to start class

  7. A Social Security Number is required to apply for your License. We accept F1 students. If you do not have a social apply for one at ssa.gov. 

  8. Contact the Department of Business and Professional Regulations (DBPR) directly yourself with questions about criminal backgrounds. We cannot tell you what they will or will not approve nor do they provide us with this information. A link to their site is located near the end of our FAQ's on our More Info tab.

class Schedule

Day Classes: Full-Time (Day classes): Monday - Friday 9am-3:30pm and Saturday 9am-8pm = 40 clock hours per week
Approx. 4 weeks 3 days (27 days)

Night Classes: Part-Time (Nigh classes): Monday - Friday 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm and Saturday 9am-8pm=
30 clock hours per week
​Approx. 6 weeks (36 days)

Office Hours: Weds, & Thursday from 3pm-5pm by appointment only. We are closed Monday, Tuesday and Fridays, on weekends and Federal Holidays. 

Graduation dates are subject to change depending on holidays and school closings such as weather, etc. Schedules are not modified or changed to fit your schedule. Please plan accordingly. No walk-ins. Appointments by registration only; if you just have questions use the contact us form or chat and please include all of your questions along with your phone number for your call to be returned in case we cannot answer it by email. If you call you will be redirected to read the website so, please take your time viewing the site. No tours are given prior to registration/consultation appointments. Virtual tours are available through our social media pages. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok icons are located at the top of the home page of our website. No walk-ins are serviced. We will not call you if it is evident that you have not thoroughly reviewed every page of our website as 99.9% of your questions will be answered there.  A supply list is provided. You are responsible for obtaining anything not provided. We provide the basics you will need to complete your clinical assignments in the classroom only.

PERFECT 10 NAIL & TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL, INC. currently is a non accredited independent educator in the State of Florida. We provide you with a Certificate of Completion after finishing the course to obtain your Nail Specialty Licensing. We do not accept offer grants and financial aid or .VA. funding at this time; however, we offer small classes, considerate schedules, short programs, affordable tuition, and payment plans. We are licensed through the Department of Education Commission of Independent Education. Our license number is located at the bottom of the page and can also be found on DBPR's (Department of Business and Professional Regulation) site.  We offer employability skills, a business class and within the cost of your tuition  assist you with applying for your license with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation before you graduate. Please, take the time to thoroughly read each page of our website before contacting us especially our FAQ page. We do not give tours to non-registered students. To reserve your seat in advanced for the next class register on our booking page.

These are the only two addresses/locations we have ever had. We will not ask you to call. We will instruct you to use our website contact us form or chat feature for your safety. If you do call, dial 904-800-6779 and use extension 241. It is best to text 904-800-6779 without the extension if you do not reach anyone or have additional questions if you choose not to use the chat feature or contact us form.  Any other number or email address you find online or even on our social media pages or physical location(s) besides the school's official business address located on this website is business identity theft and should be reported.  Registration/Enrollments are booked online through this website only for your safety. Our website, phone number without the extension, school name, and address is being used on various platforms with interior pictures of a location posing to be us luring you to contact them using a non corporate email address and cell phone. Our Instagram page has recently been hacked and we discovered a phone number and an email address in the profile diverting students to another school that is not affiliated with us. Please only reply and send information that you received from this website only.  We have no affiliation with Perfect 10 Nail School(s) on Ft. Caroline Road.  Nor Onyx Nails Academy on Ft. Caroline Road which is the same person but opperating under a different name. A complaint has been filed with Local law enforcement and State agencies. We only have one registration process. If you are issued a license under a different location knowing you did not attend here is fraud and a complaint will be file and you will be investigated for fraud and your license maybe revoked. Be careful and do not become a victim of unlicensed activity scams or diversion scams.
